Happy Labor Day, y'all! With summer officially over, I thought I'd pop in and share one of my favorite projects (labors?) from this busy summer season. This Belle Meade master bathroom was dark, dated, and begging for an overhaul. We brought it back to life with a combination of soothing colors and living room-worthy niceties. The watercolor-meets-toile Sanderson wallpaper was our starting point. We paired it with handsome headboard paneling, painted Mount Rainier Gray by Benjamin Moore. (Cladding half the wall in millwork can sometimes be a cost saver when working with an expensive wall covering like this one.) Next we layered in a trio of gleaming marble tiles, all from my go-to source The Tile Shop. To warm up the cool-tones, brass elements were introduced including the lighting and plumbing fixtures. Last but not least, came elegant decor details such as monogramed towels (from Weezie, of course!), Wedgewood china, and a gilded chair upholstered in the ever-stylish Bowood fabric. Is it just me or could you host a dinner party in this chic space?
